Upon receiving your item (s) please unpack them carefully and check that what you have ordered is correct.
Where items have a manufactures warranty and there is an issue with the item within the warranty period, the item must be forwarded to the manufacturer for repair work. Please remember to retain your Umhauers invoice for proof of purchase and warranty claims.
Damaged or Defective Products
If a product arrives damaged, defective it may be returned to Umhauers.
The customer may obtain credit on the return of products:
- Provided that they do so within 14 days of delivery and a return authorisation is obtained from Umhauers;
- Provided that the products are in their original packaging.
- If the goods have been damaged in transit, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
Products will not be accepted for returns on the basis that:
- The customer has caused the products to become unsaleable or;
- The customer failed to prevent the product from becoming unsaleable or;
- The product has not been used for its intended use as outlined in the manufacturer’s instructions
- The customer has changed their mind.
- The customer has ordered incorrectly.
In the event that an item is to be returned to Umhauers all packaging must be intact and the item must not have been damaged or used. Postage on all returns will be at the purchaser’s expense, as is when purchasing goods from any retail outlet. Returns, exchanges or credits will incur a 25% surcharge, this charge is at Umhauers’ discretion.
If wear and tear, abuse, misuse, accidental impact/s or failure to follow the ‘Instructions for use’ is found to be the cause of failure of a product, this warranty will be considered void and Umhauers will offer to replace the product at the customer’s cost.
Incorrect items shipped
If your order is incorrect, please contact Umhauers immediately by email, so that any concerns you may have can be addressed. You must contact Umhauers within 14 days from the postage date. We will do our utmost to make sure that any issue you may have is rectified as we pride ourselves on our customer service.
Should an incorrect item have been supplied, Umhauers will pay for all postage provided the item is returned in it’s original packaging, complete and intact. Contact with Umhauers must be made prior to any items being returned.
